12-year Photographer, Journalist and Entertainment Industry Professional.

Passionate about the creative arts and education, Jen Farris manages ZDennis Media Group’s mission of being the ultimate resource, consultant, and communicator responsible for moving positive messages about arts, culture and entertainment to “culture curious” audiences. Handling public relations campaigns for visual arts, performance arts and consumer lifestyle clients, she has managed publicity for the 6th largest dance institution in the nation, one of the largest breakdance tours in the world, various GRAMMY recording artists and songwriters, and a film producer with consistent record-breaking grosses at the box office.

Her method is simple: Have endless passion and enjoy competing against yourself”.

Running a public relations business with no boundaries is Farris’ ultimate goal. “I want our audiences to experience the arts in every language,” says Farris. “The worst thing you could ever do to someone is keep them underexposed, especially if it is something cultural.” Employing the creative arts as a powerful vehicle for social change is next on the list of professional accomplishments.

Prior to managing ZDennis Media Group, Farris was a radio promotions and marketing professional with MCA Records (urban) and later co-operated the Southeast Regional Rhythm & Soul membership office at American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), the first and leading U.S. Performing Rights Organization (PRO) whose constituency encompasses the world’s largest repertory of music publishers and songwriters.

She is a former HBCU Queen who earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bennett College in Greensboro, NC and her Master’s Degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. She is a member of The Recording Academy, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Alvin Ailey Ambassadors, National Black Arts Festival Contemporary Circle, Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Young Executive Board, and a Charter Member of Toastmasters International Legacy Builders in Atlanta, GA.
